Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend we went to Jeremy's parents for the long weekend. Zarley got to see both his grandparents and great grandparents. Here are some pictures from the visit.

Happy 7 month Birthday!

This past week Zarley turned 7 months. He is really growing fast.

Also, this week he started to move on his own. Depending on whether you ask Jeremy or me you will hear that he is crawling. (I say he is just creeping.) But as Jeremy says, either way he is moving forward and getting to the toys that he wants. Of course this has now made it harder for the cat to take a nap on our living room floor. He is always trying to get over to her but she moves when he is within inches of touching her. Maybe someday they can be friends.

New Pictures

Here are some newer pictures. Some are from when Grammy & Pap came to visit the Z-man. Others are of Zarley's newest game, try to roll under the couch. I'm not sure what's under there, but I think that the fact the Chewie is always coming out from under the couch makes it interesting.

Happy 6 Month Birthday!

Zarley turned 6 months this past Saturday. Today he got to go to the doctor's and get shots. Here are the most current stats: weight - 19lb 13 1/2oz (86%) and length - 28" (92%). He gets to start having two meals of baby ceral a day starting tomorrow. So far he has liked everything that we have tried.

Firsts

Just a quick update. Zarley has had a few firsts happen recently. Right after his five month birthday he rolled from his back to his tummy. Now whenever you put him down to play on his back, within minutes he is on his stomach. And this is a boy who hated tummy time. He started on cereal right after St. Patrick's Day and loves it. He woke-up Friday with his first tooth cutting through his gum. Now is chewing whatever he can get in his mouth. Then on Saturday he sat on his own for a couple of minutes. He seems to be working on crawling, but we aren't push that too much.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope that everyone enjoyed the day yesterday. I wanted to share some pictures and a video of Zarley in his "Luck Charm" shirt. We had a good day yesterday. We got to go eat lunch with our friends at Materialise (my old company). Zarley decided to be very serious there, but was having more fun when we got home.
