Latest news

Zarley started walking around the other day using his "walker" (a big toy that he used to lay under to make it play music). He did this Saturday night while Aunt Patti was watching him and has been doing it for a while this morning. I have video but I still need to figure out how to get it from the camera to the computer.

Zarley also started eatting spaghetti today. I had to take and post this picture. He really liked the meatballs.

New tooth

So I was told this weekend that I don't post enough. Here is the latest news: tooth #5 is now in. I found it yesterday afternoon. Its a top tooth. Also, we went gate crazy this weekend. We bought three new gates and still have to install two of them. Zarley is cruising around the furniture pretty good.

Oh, I also got a request for a picture of Zarley with Kris (my friend's daughter that I watch), so here that is.



I will try to be better about posting more.

Happy 9 month Birthday!

Okay, so his 9 month birthday was a couple of days ago but I was waiting until his doctor visit to post. Zarley is now 21 lbs and 13 oz (70%) and 29 1/4" (82%). He is also cruising around the furniture and stood on his own today for a couple of seconds. Its just a matter of time now until he is walking on his own. And his two top front teeth have cut and are coming in pretty quickly.

He is a picture that we took the other day. We thought that we would start getting him use to the good cars now.

8 months old - part 2

Happy 8 Month Birthday!

Thursday was Zarley's 8 month birthday. He got to spend the day playing with Kristina. He also got to spend time with Pap Rod since Pap was in to help Jeremy finish the garage.

Zarley is teething again. This time its the upper left center. I can't wait for all 20 teeth to complete come in. Right now he only has the two lower center ones, so we have some time before this is done.

Zarley has also learn to go from laying down to sitting. And his is just starting to pull up on some things. Everytime I go to get him out of the crib, he is sitting up.

I would have posted sometime yesterday but we lost power for the day. We were lucky to get it back on with 12 hours; some others around here have been out for a lot longer.

We bought a new camera recently, so I have a lot of pictures of Zarley. Below are just a couple.

Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend we went to Jeremy's parents for the long weekend. Zarley got to see both his grandparents and great grandparents. Here are some pictures from the visit.

Happy 7 month Birthday!

This past week Zarley turned 7 months. He is really growing fast.

Also, this week he started to move on his own. Depending on whether you ask Jeremy or me you will hear that he is crawling. (I say he is just creeping.) But as Jeremy says, either way he is moving forward and getting to the toys that he wants. Of course this has now made it harder for the cat to take a nap on our living room floor. He is always trying to get over to her but she moves when he is within inches of touching her. Maybe someday they can be friends.
